1.About FluxStudy and these terms#Link to section: About FluxStudy and these terms

FluxStudy is a study planning and practice service built and operated by Sansavision, a division of Sansa Group AB, Gothenburg, Sweden (org. nr 559111-9507, VAT no. SE559111950701; “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Sansa Group AB about your use of fluxstudy.com and the FluxStudy app.

By creating an account or using FluxStudy, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data, our Cookie & Storage Policy and the summary of your GDPR rights. Optional cookies, such as analytics, are only used if you allow them, and accepting or refusing them never affects your access to FluxStudy.

2.Who can use FluxStudy#Link to section: Who can use FluxStudy

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use FluxStudy. By signing up you confirm that you are. Your account is personal to you: please don’t share it or create accounts for other people.

3.Your account and signing in#Link to section: Your account and signing in

FluxStudy doesn’t use passwords. To sign in, you enter your email address and we send you either:

  • a sign-in link that works once and expires after 5 minutes, or
  • a 6-digit code that expires after 5 minutes and allows up to 5 attempts.

A quick human check (Cloudflare Turnstile) protects this step from bots. Once you’re signed in, your browser stays signed in for up to 30 days, and this renews while you keep using FluxStudy.

Anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email account secure. Sign out on shared devices. Tell us straight away at support@fluxstudy.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4.Using FluxStudy responsibly#Link to section: Using FluxStudy responsibly

When using FluxStudy, you agree not to:

  • upload content you don’t have the right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful, hateful or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • upload malware, or try to break into, overload, probe or disrupt the service or other people’s accounts;
  • try to trick the AI into revealing other people’s data, or into ignoring its safety rules. This includes hiding instructions in uploaded files;
  • get around plan allowances, rate limits or security measures, or resell access to FluxStudy;
  • scrape or bulk-download the service by automated means, except for the export tools we provide;
  • use FluxStudy to break your school’s or exam board’s rules. For example, don’t use it during an exam where outside help isn’t allowed. You’re responsible for following academic integrity rules.

5.User conduct and shared content#Link to section: User conduct and shared content

FluxStudy lets you share notes, classes and course packs and study together with other people. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. When you share anything or interact with others, you must not post, share or send content that is:

  • harassing, bullying, threatening or intimidating;
  • hateful or discriminatory, for example based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or age;
  • sexually explicit, or that sexualises minors in any way;
  • violent, or that encourages self-harm or suicide;
  • spam, a scam, or deliberately misleading;
  • unlawful, or that infringes someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights.

You can report shared notes, public note links, classes, course packs and people with the Report option, and block anyone you study or share with. People you block can't invite you, cheer you or share with you.

We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove or hide content, revoke share links, unpublish course packs, archive classes, pause an account's ability to share, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules — without warning when content is clearly objectionable. Where it's reasonable, we tell the account holder what we did and why.

To report something urgent, email support@sansagroup.eu.

6.Your content#Link to section: Your content

You own what you put into FluxStudy: your notes, files, answers and plans. You also keep whatever rights you have in what FluxStudy generates for you from your content, such as flashcards, questions and study images.

To run the service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display your content. This includes sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers named in our Privacy Policy. We use this licence only to provide FluxStudy to you, keep it secure and meet legal obligations. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anything we must keep by law. We don’t use your private content to train AI models.

You’re responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Course materials are often copyrighted: using them for your own private study is one thing, sharing or publishing them is another.

If you think an item is wrong, use the report option. A reported item is paused so it doesn’t affect your progress while we look at it.

7.Your personal data and where it is processed#Link to section: Your personal data and where it is processed

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. It is part of what you accept when you sign in or use FluxStudy.

Your data may be stored and processed on servers worldwide by the vendors we use for hosting, payments, AI and email, including outside the EU/EEA and the UK. Where the law requires it, these vendors rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you don’t agree to this, you must not use FluxStudy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under data-protection law, described on our GDPR page.

8.What AI coaching can and can’t do#Link to section: What AI coaching can and can’t do

Nova and FluxStudy’s AI features help you plan, practise and understand your material. They are software, not a human tutor. Please keep these limits in mind:

  • AI can be wrong. Explanations, answer keys, generated questions and gradings can contain mistakes, even when they cite your own materials. Check anything important against your course materials or your teacher.
  • Not a substitute for teachers, official course guidance, or professional advice. That includes medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.
  • Scores are not grades. Practice scores, mock exam results, streaks, XP and progress states are study aids. They are not official grades, and they don’t predict whether you will pass an exam.
  • Plans are suggestions. A study plan is built from the dates and availability you give us. It’s your decision how you study, and you should confirm important deadlines with your institution.

9.No guarantee of results#Link to section: No guarantee of results

FluxStudy is a study aid. We work hard to make it genuinely useful, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without any promise or guarantee of results.

We do not guarantee that using FluxStudy will lead to any particular outcome, including:

  • passing an exam, test, course or certification;
  • achieving a particular grade, score or ranking;
  • admission to a programme, school or job;
  • that study plans, practice questions, mock exams, progress signals or AI explanations are complete, correct or suitable for your course or exam.

Exam results depend on many things outside our control, including how and how much you study, your course materials and teachers, and the exam itself. You remain responsible for your own studies, for checking important information (such as exam dates, syllabus requirements and answers) against your official course materials, and for how you use FluxStudy.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible if you do not pass an exam or do not reach a result you hoped for, and we are not liable for losses connected to exam or study outcomes, such as re-sit or re-registration fees, delayed studies, lost opportunities or lost income.

This section does not limit any rights you have as a consumer under Swedish or EU law (for example if the service does not work as described), and it does not limit our liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. See also Our responsibility to you.

10.Plans, billing and cancellation#Link to section: Plans, billing and cancellation

Plans

FluxStudy offers a Free plan and two paid plans, Pro Student and Coach+, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices, what each plan includes and the monthly allowances (for example AI coaching turns, document pages and images) are shown on our pricing page. The full price, including any applicable tax, is shown before you pay.

Payment through Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe. Our checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments. Where it applies, Stripe sells the subscription to you as merchant of record and handles payment, tax and receipts. Stripe’s own terms then also apply to the purchase. We never see or store your full card details.

Renewal

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price shown when you subscribed. If we change the price, we’ll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies. Allowances reset on the renewal date shown in the app.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the pricing page (“Current plan · manage”) or by contacting us. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you’ve paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. Moving to Free never deletes your content. Anything over the Free limits stays readable and exportable; only new AI or other metered work is limited.

Deleting your FluxStudy account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Please cancel your subscription first.

Refunds

Apart from your right of withdrawal (below) and your rights under consumer law, payments for periods already started are not refundable. If we end your subscription for reasons that are not your fault, we’ll refund any prepaid amount for the unused period.

11.Your right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)#Link to section: Your right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you’re a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.

FluxStudy is a digital service that starts as soon as you subscribe. If you ask for your paid plan to start straight away during the 14 days and then withdraw, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to that point. Where the law allows, the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully provided with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@fluxstudy.com (for example: “I withdraw from my FluxStudy subscription”), including the email address on your account. You may also use the EU model withdrawal form. We, or Stripe as merchant of record, will refund what’s due within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method.

12.Availability and changes to FluxStudy#Link to section: Availability and changes to FluxStudy

We work to keep FluxStudy available and to improve it, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. AI features depend on outside providers and can be temporarily limited. When that happens, we say so in the app, and your saved materials, manual planning and review keep working. We may change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel and get a refund for the unused period.

13.Ending your account#Link to section: Ending your account

You can stop using FluxStudy and delete your account at any time from Settings. Export anything you want to keep first. Deletion takes effect immediately and can’t be undone. Our Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to export your content. If you believe we got it wrong, contact us.

14.Our responsibility to you#Link to section: Our responsibility to you

We provide FluxStudy with reasonable care and skill. If you’re a consumer, you have legal rights under Swedish and EU consumer law, for example if the service doesn’t work as described. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Apart from those rights, FluxStudy is provided “as is”. We don’t promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, that AI output will be accurate, or that using FluxStudy will lead to any particular exam result (see No guarantee of results).

Where the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your breach of these terms. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or SEK 1,000 if you use the Free plan. We do not limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

15.The FluxStudy iOS app#Link to section: The FluxStudy iOS app

These terms also apply when you use the FluxStudy app for iPhone and iPad downloaded from Apple's App Store. For the app, the following also applies:

Agreement with us, not Apple

These terms are between you and Sansa Group AB only, not Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Sansa Group AB, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Where it applies, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement is incorporated into these terms; these terms add to it and don't grant usage rules that conflict with the App Store Terms of Service.

Scope of licence

We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service. The app may also be used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where that applies.

Maintenance and support

We alone are responsible for maintaining and supporting the app, as described on our support page (support@sansagroup.eu). Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the app.

Warranty

We are responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they aren't effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.

Product claims

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including (i) product liability claims, (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.

Intellectual property claims

If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Developer name and contact

The app is provided by Sansa Group AB (Sansavision), Gothenburg, Sweden, org. nr 559111-9507. Send questions, complaints or claims about the app to support@sansagroup.eu.

Third-party terms

When you use the app, you must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement, for example your mobile carrier's or internet provider's terms.

Third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Subscriptions bought in the app

Subscriptions you buy in the app are sold and billed through Apple: payment, automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled through your Apple Account under Apple's terms, and you manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. Prices in the app match the prices on our website. Refund requests for in-app purchases go to Apple.

The rest of these terms

All other parts of these terms also apply to the app, including acceptable use and the user conduct rules, what AI can and can't do, no guarantee of results, and the limits on our responsibility.

16.Changes to these terms#Link to section: Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We’ll change the “last updated” date. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel and delete your account before the change applies. If you keep using FluxStudy after that, the updated terms apply.

17.Governing law and disputes#Link to section: Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you’re a consumer living in the EU or EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first; we want to put it right. Consumers can also take a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se (opens in a new tab)) or to the courts of Sweden.
